چکیده
Introduction/Background: Surgery plays a crucial role in the surgical management of posterior fossa tumors children, but maximizing resection while preserving function remains challenging. Along with other tools available to surgeon, intraoperative neuromonitoring aims at improving safety during these complex interventions. This case report highlights real-time surgery and its impact on surgeon's decision-making process. Case report: We present 10-year-old boy fourth ventricle medulloblastoma, who underwent microneurosurgical under neuromonitoring. The use neurophysiological monitoring yielded relevant information tumor dissection floor ventricle, most step surgery, thus helping surgeon change tactics minimize long-term neurological deficits. Conclusion: In combination meticulous microneurosurgery techniques, modern anesthetic regimens, ultrasonic aspiration, adds up armamentarium for increasing outcomes following pediatric patients bearing tumors.
